I was going through my files doing some organizing and came to a realization that 2 brides this summer had the exact same shoes! I absolutely love these shoes. They are shiny, sexy, and a really neat color, but I know I could never walk in them. Funny thing is one bride bought hers in Ireland – she came to Niagara on the Lake for a destination wedding and the other bride bought her shoes here in Niagara! Some people can just walk in high heels and look great! Both of these brides were shining examples of making it look easy. Neither complained of aching feet and both walked around in the grass without getting their heels stuck in the ground like golf tees! I was very impressed!
Jennifer and Dino had one of those great big fat Italian weddings with lots of people and family and love to spread around! It was a gorgeous fall day and such a fantastic group of people to work with and we had a great day! So much fun! I was so happy for them that the weather co-operated on such late November date. We went to Oake Hall for photos and had the whole place to ourselves! We even had time to experiment with some off camera lighting and got some really creative stuff! Thank-you Jennifer and Dino- it was a pleasure!
Melissa and Colin had an intimate wedding at the Little Wedding Chapel by Niagara Square. It was a cool day, but the sun warmed us up. Colin’s 2 sons were in the party and so sweet. It was a very moving ceremony and you could feel the love flowing in the chapel! Sounds hokey, but it was true! The sun was in the right spot for me to get a cool shot of the chapel. Thank-you Melissa and Colin
Brigitte and Mike were married in Niagara on the Lake on a windy day in October. This couple were so sweet and so in love and had so much fun! They rented a Double Deck bus for the wedding party and family to travel from location to location and everyone had a blast! Brigitte and Mike were highschool sweethearts and stayed together all through college years and working years afterwards. A really nice love story! Thank-you for letting me be a part of this special day!
Jon and Lee-Anne are getting married next June and wanted fall photos for their signature portrait! We always create “Save the date” E mail collages that couples can e mail out to all their friends and family. Save the date cards and e mails are such a cool idea! The invitations don’t go out untill 6 weeks or so before the wedding, but sometimes quests need alot more time to know the date if they have to travel to the wedding, from out of town, or make sure they will get the day off work etc… June will be here before we know it! Can’t wait for the wedding! Thank-you Jon and Lee-Anne!
The only time I spent on the beach this summer was shooting family portraits and weddings! This summer went by so quickly! With so much rain in June and July, it left only August really to go and I never had the chance!  Thanks to  Katie and Chris from Ridgeway I got a chance to spend some time on a beach! However, of course, we had to work quickly as a big black cloud was heading our way! A great couple, great wedding party, and it was fun!
