Tammy and Jason came in for their engagement session on a gorgeous early evening in July. They were dressed very casually and wanted very relaxed portraits to reflect who they are as a couple. We had a great session, the weather was overcast which is the best lighting conditions for outdoor portraiture. I am not a winter person but I gotta admit when there is snow everywhere, it is pretty! White isn’t my favourate color, I prefer “blue” as in “blue skys” “blue ocean” in the “blue caribbean” to beat the “Blues” of the winter! Lisa and Gary are getting married this summer but wanted a winter engagement portrait, so we waited for a snow covered day! This shot is taken at my new gazebo! It is just sort of sitting there in the snow, but I LOVE wrought iron and the ornate details of it against the white! We had to work very quickly, because yes it was pretty and snowy, but also bitter cold!! Hope it is warmer for the Wedding!
The only time I spent on the beach this summer was shooting family portraits and weddings! This summer went by so quickly! With so much rain in June and July, it left only August really to go and I never had the chance!  Thanks to  Katie and Chris from Ridgeway I got a chance to spend some time on a beach! However, of course, we had to work quickly as a big black cloud was heading our way! A great couple, great wedding party, and it was fun!
  I did a wedding in June and the bride had brought on the bus bags of rose petals that we used throughout the day. It was really fun! What a cool idea! Laura bought them at a craft store. I will suggest this to other brides too!
